Here at Apache we have just developed a Leave Management System(LMS),
The system is simple, It allows a staff member to submit a request to take leave,
Once the form has been submitted it is then sent to the supervisior whom will then have to approve or deny the request,
On approval a notification is sent to the staff member notifying them of the acceptance, as well as writing to the calendar in sharepoint,

On denial the form will be sent back to the submitter with an email notification.
