Microsoft is giving Office 365 business users yet another free upgrade, this time doubling the storage of all Exchange Online and Office 365 service plans from 25GB to 50GB.
A blog post from Microsoft states this email increase began rolling out today. All Exchange Online and Office 365 business customers should get the storage boost by November. The post adds that customers with premium service plans already have unlimited email storage on their personal archive, but now their default primary mailbox size will see a storage increase to 50GB.
In addition, Microsoft is also boosting the storage limits of kiosk user mailboxes from 1GB to 2GB, and storage on shared mailboxes and resources mailboxes will both be going up to 10GB, which is over double their original size. Site mailboxes remain the same.
This news comes just a few days after Microsoft announced that Office 365 business subscribers can now store up to 25GB of files and folders on SkyDrive Pro for free, up from the previous 7GB free limit.
